They should possess 0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing role, with entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. A basic understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques is necessary, along with familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Junior Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician will perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. They will document and report any defects, non-conformances, or deviations from specifications. The technician will assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, including ISO and GMP standards if applicable. They will support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to address quality issues and work closely with production teams to ensure adherence to quality protocols. Additionally, they will maintain accurate and organized quality records and reports, assist in conducting internal audits and inspections, operate and calibrate testing equipment as needed, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
