Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
  • Proficiency in Azure technologies, including ADF and SQL Server
  • Strong skills in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and advanced data integrity table and trigger design
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating various data serving APIs and transforming data to different formats
  • Excellent knowledge of data modeling and database design
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control tools
  • A strong sense of ownership and ability to handle ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure components
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable database solutions in SQL
  • Advise and assist in semantic layer definition and creation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into data models
  • Create documentation and ensure knowledge transfer for developed solutions
  • Ensure best practices with regards to process quality, observability, and scalability
  • Proficiency and experience in dataflows, from requirements gathering up to semantic layer serving
