Requirements

  • Approximately two to three years’ experience in copywriting
  • Online portfolio of outstanding conceptual creative work, produced with one or more creative agencies
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledgeable about a range of media, including social media platforms
  • Digital marketing native
  • Understanding of email and digital marketing (an asset)
  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or other relevant post-secondary achievement
  • Passion for ideas, writing, travel, and luxury
  • Appreciation for the emotional and cultural drivers in the travel space

Responsibilities

  • Speaking in the Ensemble brand tone across a wide range of media (such as digital banners, web, brochures, social content, print ads, advertorial, video) to meet marketing and creative objectives
  • Brainstorming and executing innovative creative concepts that position brands in a grounded and differentiated way
  • Displaying consistently superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills in all aspects of work
  • Welcoming feedback on work and incorporating it with minimal oversight
  • Good presentation skills – able to inspire and sell ideas and work
  • Ability to plan, work autonomously, and deliver on multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality
  • Productive, enthusiastic, and egoless collaboration with marketing team members and other internal partners throughout the creative process
  • Ensuring all work meets appropriate brand standards, in conjunction with other marketing team members
  • Staying up to date on competitive trends and competitive marketing work in the travel industry
  • Supporting teammates as needed with tasks like ideation, writing, editing, and proofreading
