Requirements

  • 1-3 years of work experience in an Accounting Department or an Audit Firm
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Experience gained in SAP environment would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of IFRS would be a definite plus
  • ACCA Professional Qualification preferred
  • Excellent use of MS Office, especially in using advanced Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • International perspective and culture
  • Attention to detail, and high accuracy are critical
  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking, innovation and time dedication

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review accounting books, records, and entries in SAP
  • Review payments and payment/POs schedule
  • Coordinate with the external tax and accounting consultants for the tax filings and ensure compliance with accounting, tax and other statutory requirements
  • Prepare the monthly IFRS reporting packages for the Group reporting and consolidation purposes
  • Lead the coordination of annual audit and liaise with external auditors for Statutory and Group purposes
  • Maintains and enforces accounting policies and procedures
  • Support the business with financial reports, and other special projects
