Job Description: Licensed Therapist (Contractor)

Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote
• Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
• Salary: $78 - $83 per session (Illinois - starting rate, varies by state and individual factors)
• About the Role: Headspace is seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Currently accepting applications from providers licensed in Illinois. Contractor therapists are asked to offer a minimum of 5 sessions/week, with flexibility to offer additional sessions based on demand. Due to scheduling fluctuations, it may take a number of weeks to establish a consistent schedule.

Requirements

• Licensed therapist in Illinois.
• Must be located in the US (excluding U.S. territories).
• Available to offer a minimum of 5 sessions per week, with flexibility to increase.
• Night and weekend flexibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, innovative tele-therapy to Headspace patients via a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
• Complete and lock clinical case notes in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) within 48 hours of each session.
• Maintain a personalized database to record proof of licensure, license updates, and other relevant information.
• Keep availability calendar updated.
• Maintain regular communication with clinical leadership, responding to emails within 24 hours.
• Work with a collaborative care team including health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.
