Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent
  • 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in IT & Telecom strategic sourcing
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country procurement projects
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated savings delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Trackwise)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
  • (Preferred) Experience in a large multinational or matrix organization
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
  • (Preferred) Exposure to supplier risk management and sustainability initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT & Telecom sourcing initiatives across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global category strategies
  • Own and deliver regional procurement projects, achieving agreed savings targets and service level improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing and supplier management strategies
  • Drive competitive bidding, tendering, and contract negotiation for suppliers over €100K spend
  • Support and guide local sourcing initiatives (<€100K) across multiple EMEA markets
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices across the region
  • Reduce supplier base and drive spend towards preferred and contracted suppliers
  • Report savings, manage contracts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
