Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security, risk assessment, or compliance roles. They must demonstrate knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, as well as regulatory compliance standards including GDPR and HIPAA. Proficiency with security tools and technologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The IT Security & Compliance professional will establish and maintain security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies, perform regular audits and assessments of IT systems to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, investigate security incidents and ensure effective incident response and documentation, collaborate with various departments to ensure understanding and adherence to security policies and compliance regulations, conduct training and awareness sessions for employees regarding security best practices and compliance obligations, keep abreast of the latest trends in cybersecurity threats and compliance issues, prepare detailed reports and presentations on security metrics and compliance audits for management, and collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during assessments.
