Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in IT security, risk management, or compliance. They should have a solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, data protection regulations like GDPR and HIPAA, and risk management practices. Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM, is also required.

Responsibilities

The IT Security & Compliance professional will develop and enforce IT security policies and compliance strategies, conduct frequent assessments and audits of IT systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance, monitor and investigate security incidents, collaborate with departments to promote security awareness, train staff on best practices, maintain up-to-date knowledge of security technologies and regulations, prepare reports on security metrics, assist in creating incident response plans and documentation, and interface with auditors and regulatory bodies.
