Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT governance, compliance, or related operational support roles
  • Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Experience supporting vendor risk assessments and audit preparation
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to proactively manage competing priorities
  • Process-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining IT governance policies and procedures
  • Maintain organized documentation of policies, audit trails, and risk registers
  • Manage the policy review lifecycle, ensuring version control and accessibility
  • Support organizational compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and help identify and track risk mitigation actions
  • Maintain risk registers and support the creation of governance dashboards and reports
  • Assist in assessing vendor compliance, tracking contract status, and maintaining vendor risk documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure vendor-related governance requirements are met
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation to support internal and external audit processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address findings and track remediation progress
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards for governance performance, risk posture, and compliance activity
  • Support the IT Governance Manager in preparing reports and presentations for leadership
  • Coordinate and track governance-related training initiatives and awareness campaigns
  • Maintain completion records and compile feedback for continuous improvement
  • Support meeting coordination, including agenda creation, action tracking, and status reporting
  • Assist with workflow management, project tracking, and cross-functional governance operations
  • Partner with IT, Legal, People, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on governance and compliance initiatives
  • Contribute to broader governance and risk management projects
