Requirements

Positive, friendly attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
At least 21 years of age or older
Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. and work on feet or seated for extended periods
Adaptability and keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and organization
Reliable transportation
Ability to handle potential allergens, irritants, and elevated environmental conditions (high temperatures, humidity, CO2 levels)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching
Close visual focus required
Extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift objects regularly, perform daily repetitive tasks
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet
Ability to work in environment exposed to plant materials and strong odors

Responsibilities

Conduct daily pest and disease monitoring and scouting to ensure optimal plant health
Maintain up-to-date pesticide and preventative agent logs
Mix and apply pesticides, preventative agents, and caustic cleaning agents according to protocols
Operate and maintain Dramm Hydraulic Sprayers for IPM product applications
Apply IPM products and beneficial bugs to plants
Coordinate application schedules with the IPM Supervisor
Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects
Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Uphold quality standards, conducting and documenting follow-up inspections to maintain excellence
