Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have a strong understanding of Swift and the iOS SDK. Experience with mobile development, particularly with iOS, is essential, along with familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience with version control systems like Git are also required.
As an iOS Software Engineer, you will have significant ownership in the development of the Help Scout iOS application, collaborating closely with Android Engineers and Product/Design teams. You will be responsible for building new features, maintaining existing code, and ensuring the seamless and reliable mobile experience for our users. Additionally, you will contribute to the application refresh and explore opportunities to implement Kotlin Multiplatform, and participate in code reviews and testing to maintain high quality standards.
