Requirements

  • Asset management industry experience with evidence of delivering MI and Performance analysis
  • Industry related qualifications helpful (e.g., IMC, CFA, Investment Operations Certificate)
  • Operational Due Diligence experience on Active and Passive Investment Managers
  • Understanding of operational workings within open-ended investment vehicles
  • Well-developed problem solving, decision making and communication skills
  • Successful track record of building effective working relationships at a senior level to actively influence and achieve results / Stakeholder management
  • Based in London (contractual location)

Responsibilities

  • Lead oversight of UK regulated funds (OEICs and TTFs) to ensure alignment with investment objectives, guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee investment process and performance across all Public Market Strategies
  • Prepare detailed updates for Boards and Committees on internal and external Portfolio and Investment Managers
  • Manage investment oversight controls and risks
  • Continuously refine an effective oversight model ensuring regulatory, sustainability, product, and investment objectives are met within a robust risk and control framework
  • Determine appropriate oversight strategy for Public Markets
  • Govern outsourced providers
  • Implement regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
  • Shape internal manager oversight governance
  • Chair the Private Markets Investment Oversight Committee
  • Provide strategic leadership in the design and evolution of the investment oversight framework
  • Oversee regulatory interpretation and risk management
  • Set escalation protocols
  • Act as key liaison with senior leadership, boards, and regulators
  • Deliver transparent reporting
  • Embed oversight into product development
