Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary research on companies and industry by researching, reading financial statements and market data, interviewing management teams, and visiting companies to gain a deep understanding of companies within the sector to support buy/sell recommendations
  • Make recommendations to Portfolio Managers to buy/sell specific stocks that will positively impact portfolio performance, requiring good judgment
  • Position ideas and convince Portfolio Managers to act on buy/sell recommendations by articulating the risk/reward payoff
  • Effectively follow up with Portfolio Managers after execution on recommendations by providing constant feedback on meaningful changes in the stock's story to support future decisions
