Requirements

  • Capability to analyze reports (e.g., weekly sync, CSW, OMNI) and initiate corrective actions
  • Experience supporting product recalls/vendor returns and physical inventory processes, including preparation, cutoff, reconciliation, and valuation reports
  • Familiarity with CSW bin verification and perpetual inventory adjustments
  • Supervisory experience: monitoring/directing work of others, providing performance feedback, coaching, and counseling
  • Reporting to Warehouse Manager and providing supervision to Inventory Control Specialists and/or Coordinators

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain efficient and accurate inventory management procedures consistent with company policy; safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection
  • Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy; make system adjustments, analyze results, initiate corrective actions, and maintain records of audits, counts, and adjustments; confirm daily completion
  • Establish, maintain, and execute slotting programs using tools like DOMS
  • Determine disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including possible recoup
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and Purchasing cycle count requests
  • Ensure customer returned products are saleable; review condition, expiration, recalls; adjust balances and take action on non-saleable items; communicate outcomes to Customer Service
  • Review and analyze weekly sync report to determine error causes and initiate corrective action
  • Support product recall/vendor return process through physical identification and segregation
  • Coordinate physical inventory preparation, cutoff, control desk management, valuation reports, variance reconciliation, and related activities per P/I Instruction Document
  • Establish, maintain, and execute the CSW bin verification program
  • Run and review daily CSW and OMNI reports to determine action requirements
  • Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical movement when necessary
  • Monitor and direct work of Inventory Control Specialists/Coordinators; provide performance feedback, coaching, and counseling
