Requirements

3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient with MRP systems (bonus)
Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling materials
Participation in drug and alcohol program (safety-sensitive position)

Responsibilities

Transacting inventory movements for multiple projects, ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed
Managing transactions in WMS/ERP to match physical goods movement, identifying discrepancies, and performing root cause analysis
Conducting cycle counts to control inventory accuracy and minimize variances, including monthly cycle counts
Ensuring adequate inventory of materials and products per inventory cycles and organizational philosophy
Double-checking Bill of Materials for projects to ensure all parts are present
Running parts to production floor, issuing parts to jobs, kitting jobs, unboxing parts, grouping materials, and pulling sheet metal for CNC operators
Using ERP system to accurately track materials
Assisting in annual inventory planning, managing, and disposing of surplus materials and scrap
Providing warehouse assistance, including receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and picking up the lot
Maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing materials in ERP, overseeing finished goods inventories, and conducting annual physical inventories
