  • Initial experience in image and data analysis and developing programs in machine vision and machine learning
  • Proficient in Python with initial experience in CV & DL libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch)
  • Eager to independently tackle challenging tasks in sensing technologies
  • Very good English skills
  • Known among friends and peers for initiative, reliability, and quick comprehension
  • Available for 6-month full-time internship starting March or April 2026 in Freiburg (im Breisgau)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Machine Vision team in innovative projects
  • Develop prototypes and algorithms in machine vision and machine learning
  • Apply computer vision and deep learning techniques to develop innovative solutions for robot-assisted surgery applications in medical robotics and navigation
