Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum of 5+ years experience in supply chain and procurement in food industry
Experience in managing multi-country supply chains (ideal)
Strong grasp of sourcing and importing/exporting procedures (ideal)

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day supply chain related activities within assigned region, problem-solve supply chain challenges, ensure supply, oversee supplier development and relationships for core & proprietary products, interface with franchisees & local distribution partners on product importation, availability, changes, and logistics communications, provide supply chain support to internal cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Culinary, Marketing) for new menu items, track and collect custom product fees from approved suppliers
Identify and implement supply chain strategies, cost-savings, and revenue-creating opportunities; identify sourcing opportunities to optimize cost of goods sold and supply chain revenue (including export/import vs. local decisions); document supply chain optimization plans for efficiency and anticipating needs; consolidate supply across markets for quality standardization and cost efficiencies; develop committed in-regional supplier base; monitor macro trends and execute purchasing strategies for stability; report trends and progress to APAC regional business team and franchisees
Minimize risk of supply disruption: identify supply and supplier issues, analyze root causes, improvement opportunities, and risks; develop solutions, gain consensus to resolve issues; identify secondary supplier opportunities
Enable new-market entry: identify and implement sourcing solutions (suppliers/products) meeting menu needs with safe, compliant product at best costs; collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, culinary, operations, food safety) for product approval; identify & onboard export and local distribution partners; support new franchisees to open markets with needed products in planned timeframe
Data management & supply chain market profiles: document market profiles (suppliers, products, freight forwarders, lead-times, distribution partners, key contacts); maintain accurate pricing and expiry info from regional suppliers for core products; monitor supplier/distributor performance via KPIs; obtain regular product consumption data for core products by market
