Requirements

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in a banking or financial services industry
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and anti-money laundering regulations
Experience with audit frameworks, such as IAS 15, IAS 16, and IFRS 15
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with risk management and governance
Familiarity with German market regulations and requirements

Responsibilities

Lead audit missions for the German Branch, including:
Fraud management
Operational risks
Compliance with regulatory obligations
Participate in centralized process audits, including:
Follow-up on audit recommendations and ensure timely implementation
Participate in local governance activities, including:
Risk Committee
Risk reporting
Authorities meetings
Conduct annual risk assessment for the German Branch
Collaborate with local experts, risk teams, and various Qonto departments
Gain an extensive understanding of Qonto's activities and departments
Use established audit frameworks while adapting them to Qonto's specific needs
Work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to ensure effective audit processes
Participate in cross-functional collaboration with local stakeholders and risk teams
Develop and implement audit methodologies tailored to Qonto's specific needs
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments in the German market
