Responsibilities

  • Develop a software scripted tool that runs a series of system health checks on a microscope and reports results
  • Conduct problem analysis by collecting SMART requirements from key collaborators
  • Perform software development of the scripting tool with focus on ease-of-use for service engineers
  • Ensure scalability through planning and regular alignment with stakeholders
  • Create solution documentation in PDF format available to service engineers
  • Develop a service introduction plan
  • Further develop and build on current available automated tests (stage/aperture test and beam centering test)
  • Achieve success criteria of solution acceptance by collaborators, efficiency improvements, independence from people, trackability/visibility of results, and predictability of software upgrade times
