Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Interest in testing, automation, and software quality
  • Familiarity with Windows applications
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge is a plus (e.g., Python, C#)
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Enthusiasm for science, engineering, or microscopy is welcome

Responsibilities

  • Complete manual and automated test cases for new and existing software features
  • Help design and document test plans for upcoming functionality
  • Validate complex imaging workflows, including sample alignment, ion beam milling, and 3D reconstruction
  • Report, track, and help solve software issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test infrastructure and practices
  • Participate as a full member of the Agile Scrum team in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews
