Responsibilities

  • Provide lean service operations solutions for the service of customer return assemblies and products
  • Support Short & Long range capacity planning that considers resources, materials consumption and space utilization
  • Study operations sequence, material flow, and project information to optimize Service operations
  • Create a Value Stream map of an existing key process to visualize and improve each selected process by analyzing the flow of materials and information required to service the product from start to finish
  • Create supporting flowcharts that identify value-added versus non-value-added steps to eliminate waste and inefficiencies, ultimately increasing customer value and operational efficiency
  • Create a future state Value Stream map that represents the change in value-added versus non-value-added steps, draft and design a layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to support the VSA, using drafting tools and computer
  • Analyze production data (cycle times, flow) to identify inefficiencies
  • Generate performance reports and visualizations pre and post VSM
  • Execute your ideas and solutions with engineers and production staff through influential leadership
