Requirements

Graduate student pursuing PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Engineering
Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
Good knowledge of semiconductor/memory device physics
Some familiarity with TCAD simulation
Good knowledge of VLSI circuits and systems
Inclusive, adapting style to situations and diverse global norms

Collaborative, building relationships and offering support
Innovative and creative, proactively exploring new ideas and adapting to change
Daily onsite presence at San Jose headquarters 5 days a week

Responsibilities

Survey literature on DRAM device technology and simulation
Find technical barriers for future DRAM and propose vectors to explore with team members
Assess DRAM cell device feasibility by TCAD simulation
Collaborate with team members for future DRAM design
Explore device optimization using TCAD simulation for DRAM cell transistors
Investigate technology requirements, design rules, and structural and electrical specifications
Engage in technical interactions with internal customers
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in DRAM technology
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
