Majoring in Electrical Engineering
Strong academic performance
Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
Availability for spring, summer, and fall semesters
Availability for multiple work terms (preferred)
Valid driver's license
Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program
Military experience (a plus)

Responsibilities

Become familiar with industry codes and best practices
Build critical thinking skills
Gain understanding of how engineering disciplines work together
Learn various aspects of refinery operations
Expand written and verbal presentation skills
Work on electrical and instrumentation projects (E&I Project Engineer role): develop project management skills including scope alignment, cost/schedule development, and teamwork; support area teams
Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues; analyze equipment failures; develop solutions; submit Project Request Forms (PRFs); understand maintenance strategies; use electrical analysis software for coordination and Arc Flash studies; learn about Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) (Reliability E&I Engineer role)
Support process control systems: troubleshoot power supply problems; perform control system programming; handle hardware/software lifecycle replacements; install/troubleshoot communication networks; monitor performance metrics (Process Control/Technical Service Engineer role)
