Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong backend development experience, ideally within a fast-paced tech environment
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or a similar backend framework
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

  • Experience or interest in working with AI/ML-powered systems, tools, or APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, or Google Cloud

  • Experience in the digital advertising or martech industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable APIs and backend services
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical specifications
  • Implement backend logic to support AI-enhanced features like automated workflows and intelligent data reporting
  • Optimize system performance and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, knowledge sharing, and maintainability
  • Conduct testing and debugging to maintain a stable and secure platform
  • Stay informed on backend and AI technology trends to drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
