Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar position, experience in audit preferred
  • Accounting or Finance degree, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong desire to learn and ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise discretion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Fast learner, self-motivated, possesses strong organizational skills, and extremely attentive to detail

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
  • Posting journal entries, preparing reconciliations and providing support in the preparation of finance internal reports
  • Assisting in the departmental, regional and product allocations
  • Performing internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX
  • Providing support in the preparation of Finance internal reports and variance analysis
  • Assisting in the preparation of the cash flow and related analysis
  • Preparing reconciliations for the tax team as requested
  • Assisting with internal and external audits by preparing and compiling supporting documentation and responding to auditor queries
  • Assisting in the preparation of complex analysis including the expected credit loss (ECL) provision
  • Assisting in the optimization of new processes (automation/AI to increase efficiency)
