Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
  • MS Office Suite proficiency, Intermediate Excel level (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish
  • SAP knowledge (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting function in a matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational) with complex reporting practices and exposure to various reporting systems
  • Experience working in a shared service center across a global/large organization (preferred)
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
  • Versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, good communicator and collaborator
  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure and adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Computer or technical knowledge
  • Effective problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities
  • Investigate and resolve unsupported balances and IC differences
  • Provide support to business on request related to journal/recon backups
  • Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management to enable proactive response to potential risks and related losses
  • Conduct Financial Statement analysis
  • Prepare Intercompany journal entries calculations
  • Perform Intercompany month end closing process and any necessary requests
  • Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP
  • Perform other related work to accounting cycle
