Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on microservices (JAVA) and APIs
  • Proven experience as an Integration Tech Lead or similar role (3+ years)
  • Proven experience with API Gateways such as IBM or Apigee (3+ years)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Experience with API design principles and best practices (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI Specs)
  • Solid understanding of security concepts like OAuth, OIDC, and/or security protocols
  • Experience with API testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of the Bank Industry (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of integration engineers in the development and implementation of CORE Microservices/API solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner
  • Mentor and guide junior integration specialists
  • Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and best practices
  • Review integration components developed internally or by partners
  • Monitor the adoption of methodologies and good practices and promote improvements
