Candidates must possess 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration, with proven experience in linking cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems. They should have in-depth experience with API protocols, securing integrations, and automated integration tools, along with knowledge of relational database design and management techniques. Strong technical project management experience and familiarity with system and software quality assurance best practices are also required.
The Integration Specialist will analyze business requirements, participate in and lead the planning of integration projects, design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within Telesat’s architectural principles, and research and recommend integration products and services. They will also conduct testing and troubleshooting of integrations, implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions, provide guidance to other Applications Department members, identify and resolve system integration issues, and assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues arise.
