Requirements

Have completed at least the 2nd year of a relevant degree (typically Computer Engineering, CS, or EE)
Strong technical fundamentals, with ability to write code and learn new concepts quickly
Have been part of an engineering team/club
Experience with standard software tools (e.g., git) and development practices (e.g., code review)
Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results

Responsibilities

Be given ownership of a project tailored to start date, duration, and location, directly contributing to aircraft development program success
Understand how your project ties into critical path development objectives
Partner with a senior engineer as mentor for technical input and professional development
Example projects: Design and implement sensor emulators using simulation tooling or hardware instrumentation
Example projects: Design, simulate, and integrate aircraft operations into a software application used for training pilots
Example projects: Implement a Hardware-in-the-loop capability for validating software features end-to-end across missions
Example projects: Build a continuous integration pipeline to deliver repeated test coverage of flight software
Example projects: Own a software design from concept, design, iteration, to release; identify bugs and drive changes to fix them
