Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid government-issued photo ID. They are required to have a Pesticide Applicator Certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment, along with six months of experience in commercial cultivation, agriculture, or a related field, and proficiency in measurements.

Responsibilities

The Integrated Pest Management Technician will oversee the facility’s IPM program, ensuring the safe and compliant application of pesticides and biocontrol agents, while also eliminating and controlling pests impacting crop health and yield. They will coordinate with the cultivation management team, create and track work orders, ensure a safe work environment through training and PPE adherence, manage equipment maintenance, perform irrigation inspections, and comply with PADOH spray regulations and spray logs.
