Mental health experience preferred

Oconomowoc Only: Valid driver’s license preferred and must be granted insurable status by the Rogers insurance policy
Pool 2 schedule: minimum of 16 hours per week/64 hours per month (8 shifts per month - 3 of those shifts must be on the weekend); 3 holidays per year on 3rd shift schedule

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and caregivers, ensuring a positive and seamless admission process
Collect, verify, and input medical, insurance, and demographic information with accuracy
Explain and complete admission paperwork, obtaining required signatures (e.g., patient rights, consent forms)
Register patients and manage documents using the Cerner system
Conduct safety checks and assist with belongings searches as needed
Manage patient interactions in crisis situations, maintaining a calm and welcoming environment
Facilitate unscheduled admissions, including screenings and scheduling in collaboration with Patient Access
Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to address clinical criteria, documentation, and treatment issues
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and other regulatory requirements
Explain insurance coverage to patients and handle related inquiries
Provide clear documentation and communicate cases requiring special attention
Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
