  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Team Lead
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Billing Operations
  • Microsoft Applications experience to include Word, OneNote, Excel (Pivot Tables, charts and/or macros), PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal direction
  • Experience exercising discretion while utilizing company policies and practices
  • Collaborative and excels in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assign all work assignments, create and balance the Book of Business assignments to the team to the work, manage the quality of the work and drive the people management activities within the team
  • Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking and follow ups occur for scheduled review of scorecards and coaching
  • Anticipate, identify, and assess complex issues problems then develop and implement a corresponding plan of action for resolution
  • Become the subject matter expert with industry expertise to support team questions, escalations, problem solving and industry questions
  • Identify root causes for customer dissatisfaction and recommend solutions to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Perform analysis and solving moderately complex problems
  • Create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
  • Perform incident notification and escalation to ensure problems requests issues are communicated effectively and receive proper management attention
  • Handle day-to-day tasks of the billing caseworker team of approximately 8-10 people
  • Conduct frequent client facing meetings to address escalations, process updates and communications with Distribution
