Currently enrolled in a certificate or associate degree program in Process Control and Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or a related field
Basic understanding of control systems and instrumentation concepts
Strong interest in industrial automation and process optimization
Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and work in field conditions
Ability to take initiative, demonstrate a positive attitude with an eagerness to learn, and be adaptable
Ability to apply basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and/or advanced math, algebra, and/or statistical methods
Ability to communicate, exchange written and verbal information and/or instructions
Ability to contribute critical thinking skills, work well in teams, have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Sedentary work - exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally

Assist in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems including Basic Process Control Systems (BPCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
