Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Accredited military or trade school diploma or certificate
  • Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment, and equipment calibration according to defined standards (applicable military training considered equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Proficient communication and computer skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments
  • Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner
  • Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
  • Able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment
  • Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures
  • Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC equipment
  • Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks
  • Complete instrument tracking documentation
  • Complete required safety tasks and activities
  • Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders
  • Some on-call responsibilities
