Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Accredited military or trade school diploma or certificate
- Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment, and equipment calibration according to defined standards (applicable military training considered equivalent)
- Strong mechanical skills
- Proficient communication and computer skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments
- Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner
- Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
- Able to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment
- Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures
- Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC equipment
- Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks
- Complete instrument tracking documentation
- Complete required safety tasks and activities
- Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks
- Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders
- Some on-call responsibilities
