High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Accredited military or trade school diploma or certificate
Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment, and equipment calibration according to defined standards (applicable military training considered equivalent)
Strong mechanical skills
Proficient communication and computer skills
Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments
Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner
Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
Able to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment
Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures
Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment
Troubleshoot PLC equipment
Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks
Complete instrument tracking documentation
Complete required safety tasks and activities
Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks
Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders
