Requirements

  • Expertise in energy distribution (water, gas, compressed air, HVAC, low/high voltage electricity)
  • Knowledge in electricity, IT, and automation for recalibrating, analyzing, and operating measurement devices (gas, water, electricity meters)
  • Ability to lead projects on consumption reduction and decarbonization
  • Technical support skills as an expert for suppliers and site collaborators on energy impacts (measurements, monitoring, subsidies)
  • Experience in energy improvement projects (energy efficiency, photovoltaics, waste heat recovery): study & project setup, implementation/organization and site follow-up, control phases
  • Capability to implement a global, pragmatic approach for ISO 50001 certification
  • Skills in improving building equipment supervision (Building Management Systems), in coordination with FM contract manager
  • Ability to define and implement investments in equipment and networks for durability and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in managing and following financially or technically complex projects with high stakes (100% energy availability), including on-site work
  • Capacity to propose innovative solutions, take risks, and gain stakeholder buy-in

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee energy distribution (water, gas, compressed air, HVAC, BT/HT electricity)
  • Recalibrate, analyze, and operate measurement devices (gas, water, electricity meters), integrating electricity, IT, and automation aspects
  • Lead projects for consumption reduction and decarbonization on Grenoble and Echirolles production sites
  • Provide technical support as an expert to suppliers handling these activities and to site collaborators whose projects impact consumption (measurements, monitoring, subsidies)
  • Manage energy consumption improvement projects (efficiency, photovoltaics, waste heat recovery): study & project setup, realization/organization and site follow-up, control
  • Ensure a global, pragmatic approach towards ISO 50001 certification to align with Caterpillar France's carbon neutrality goal (scopes 1&2 by 2030)
  • Improve supervision of connected building equipment (Building Management), in link with FM contract manager; define and implement investments on equipment/networks for sustainability and compliance
  • Mount and monitor complex financial/technical projects, ensuring 100% energy availability, including on-site involvement
  • Propose innovative solutions, take calculated risks, and secure stakeholder adhesion
