Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in high-availability environments, strong knowledge of AWS core services including VPC, ALB, EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route53, RDS, ElastiCache, SNS/SQS, and proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Go. They should also have practical experience with Kubernetes (ideally EKS), including workload tuning, autoscaling, and troubleshooting under load, along with familiarity with networking concepts, CDN/Edge, observability stacks like Splunk and New Relic, and SRE practices.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure serving billions of monthly requests, working with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices, deploying and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, collaborating across domains and teams to enable infrastructure improvements, improving observability at scale, helping to stay ahead of operational risks through proactive monitoring and incident response, and participating in postmortems.
