Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience (6 to 8 years preferred in Network operational support/management roles)
  • Supported Network deployments and performed Network transitions/transformations
  • Must have skills: Network Infrastructures, Cisco Data center routing & Switching, F5 Load balancer, Wireless
  • Good to have skills: Firewall, Infoblox (DDI), NAM (e.g., Wireshark)
  • Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education, BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP or any other relevant certifications
  • Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Routers, Firewalls (Fortinet), F5 Load Balancers, IPSEC, SSL VPN, Infoblox DDI
  • Advanced Networking and Network Protocols knowledge
  • Experience in software patch management (e.g., Extreme cloud patch management cycle, testing, deployment)
  • Experience managing Multi-Client Networks, WAN Links, LAN Management
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Follow ITIL processes (Incident & Change management)
  • Flexible to work in 24x7 environment and at Data center during deployments
  • Good understanding of procedures, applications, and concepts within own subject area

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (remote and onsite)
  • Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across server and network areas, and for specific software solutions/vendors/brands
  • Perform L1 and L2/basic and intermediate level troubleshooting
  • Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application
  • Prepare moderate to complex network designs/schematics to address specific customer network solution requirements
  • Prepare work orders containing instructions for technicians to configure network hardware and software
  • Work with customer technical teams to provide solutions for internetworking communications requirements
  • Configure and troubleshoot WAN/LAN/WLAN equipment in a complex environment
  • Remotely support new installs, circuit upgrades, and logical changes
  • Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing
  • Troubleshoot critical incidents and problem tickets; identify potential failures and recommend solutions
  • Update knowledge base with known errors/resolutions
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for in-scope device Management Services
  • Advance level Fault Management: Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and Diagnose Fault, Provide Fault resolution
  • Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement & Core level debugging
  • Drive Network projects
