Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure builds and transformation efforts across Virtualization Environments for client datacenters
  • Design and deploy VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Aria Suite components as part of new implementations or migration projects
  • Build and configure enterprise-grade hardware platforms (Dell VxRail & vSAN Ready Nodes, Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant)
  • Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and validation of infrastructure readiness
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, and RCA reports
  • Ensure adherence to security baselines, audit standards, and DR frameworks
  • Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes in line with ITIL best practices
  • Collaborate with architects, network, and storage teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration
  • Support project governance, milestone tracking, and quality assurance during build phases
  • Provide technical mentorship to engineers and support the transition-to-operations phase post-deployment, with a focus on cross-skilling across other technologies such as DevOps and SRE
  • Participate in 24×7 rotational support, ensuring timely escalation and issue resolution
  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite)
  • Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands
  • Perform L1 and L2/basic and intermediate level troubleshooting
