Requirements

  • In-depth working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICDs
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Knowledge of using/applying US Government database programs such as the NBIS electronic application (eAPP), Standard Form 86 (SF-86), DISS, NISS, Scattered Castles/Talon and other online US Government programs
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required
  • US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in managing SEAKR’s security program, ensuring compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and DoDM 5205.07
  • Maintain and update Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP), Insider Threat policy, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operation Security Instructions, Program Protection Plans, Transportation and Security Education Plans based on government guidance
  • Participate in Program staff meetings, program administration reviews, Program Monthly Reviews (PMRs) and Government and Contractor Security Working Groups in support of Intelligence Community Programs
  • Oversee daily security operations to include Physical Security, PERSEC, Visitor Control, Document Control and COMSEC
  • Conduct self-assessments to ensure accuracy of program documentation, accountability of equipment, preparation, submission and tracking of written reports to the Customer
  • Prepare and maintain inspection artifacts and participate in customer security assessments
  • Provide after-hours support for the mission on a rare, but as needed, basis
  • Oversee and mature the security education, training, and awareness program for SEAKR staff, including periodic notifications on unauthorized disclosure, classification management, reporting requirements, and daily security practices
  • Understand, interpret and enforce government directives and company security policies, providing direction and guidance to employees, visitors and executive staff
  • Conduct security incident investigations collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
