Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance of industrial machinery or successful completion of a field-related technical program
  • Experience with CNC and PLC systems including Fanuc, Siemens, and Allen Bradley
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with relay logic and programmable controllers
  • Hands-on experience with AC/DC analog and digital drives
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Possess one of the following: Wisconsin Electrician License, State-indentured Journeyman Electrician or Electronic Technician, Associate Degree in electrical or electronics, Union Journeyman Card, or equivalent military experience

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on CNC machines, PLC-controlled equipment, and relay logic systems
  • Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment from manufacturers including Ingersoll, DMG Mori, Liebherr, G&L, Pietro Carnaghi, and Pama
  • Work with encoder systems including Heidenhain and Inductosyn
  • Support electrical maintenance on cranes, hoists, conveyors, furnaces, welding equipment (Miller and Lincoln), paint booths, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and machine tool prints
