Requirements

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
Available for Summer 2026, up to 40 hours per week (on-site in San Antonio, TX manufacturing facility)

Responsibilities

Assisting in time and motion studies, layout analysis, and process mapping
Supporting continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
Collecting and analyzing production or operations data to identify improvement opportunities
Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation
Assisting with performance metrics tracking and visual management systems (dashboards, KPIs)
Participating in cross-functional meetings and presenting findings or recommendations
Collaborating in cross-functional teams, applying problem-solving and communication skills
Using data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to translate raw data into actionable insights
Applying Lean principles to simplify processes and reduce waste
Engaging in on-site observations and performance reviews to validate findings
Presenting results and suggestions to the leadership team
