Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Available for Summer 2026, up to 40 hours per week (on-site in San Antonio, TX manufacturing facility)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in time and motion studies, layout analysis, and process mapping
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Collecting and analyzing production or operations data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation
  • Assisting with performance metrics tracking and visual management systems (dashboards, KPIs)
  • Participating in cross-functional meetings and presenting findings or recommendations
  • Collaborating in cross-functional teams, applying problem-solving and communication skills
  • Using data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to translate raw data into actionable insights
  • Applying Lean principles to simplify processes and reduce waste
  • Engaging in on-site observations and performance reviews to validate findings
  • Presenting results and suggestions to the leadership team
