Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in similar field applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
Designing, improving, and optimising systems and processes that involve people, materials, information, equipment, and energy to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality and productivity
Provide industrial engineering support to manufacturing (e.g., layout, WSI, routing, process/material flow)
Lead a team in productivity and cost improvement
Perform cost estimate study for potential products
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and standards
Co-ordinate with product team to implement new ideas to optimize resources
Develop and establish work standards, routing, and WSI
Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions
Plan and set up manufacturing lines
Support new models start-up and ECO’s
Participate in cost and quality improvement
Supervise work group
Track CAPEX spending on new manufacturing lines to be within allocated budget
Drive LEAN opportunities during new manufacturing lines setup
