Requirements

  • HND minimum in Industrial Engineering or related field (degree preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability in industrial engineering or similar position
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
  • Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and other relevant software)
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and working with machinery
  • Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
  • Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
  • Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of production schedules
  • Build and optimise facility layouts and production cells
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (important metrics) to supervise progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to process improvements and project outcomes
