Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects, working knowledge of printing processes, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, and strong mathematical and analytical abilities. A background in packaging engineering or graphic production is also advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Carton Packaging Estimator will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects, analyze packaging specifications and customer drawings, collaborate with sales, production, and design teams, utilize historical cost data and supplier pricing to prepare quotes, maintain and update pricing databases, support customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input, monitor job costing performance, and recommend cost-saving alternatives in materials or production processes when applicable.
