Requirements

Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Transportation & Automobile Design with 4+ years of experience
Strong portfolio showcasing industrial design work
Proficiency in Photoshop, Alias, and Keyshot
Solid understanding of design principles and user-centered design
Familiarity with materials, prototyping, and manufacturing processes
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
Creative thinker with a collaborative mindset
Analytical Thinking (Working Knowledge): Approaches situations by defining problems, systematic comparison of solutions, uses analysis tools like flow charts, identifies impacts, uses logic for conclusions
Effective Communications (Working Knowledge): Delivers helpful feedback, listens without defensiveness, makes presentations and writes reports, avoids jargon, considers non-verbal cues
Managing Multiple Priorities (Working Knowledge): Recognizes changing demands, validates with management, understands alignment with goals, completes work per priorities

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Branding, UI/UX, and Engineering, and work closely with the Global in-house Industrial Design team to define product goals and user needs
Develop concept sketches, 3D CAD models, renderings, and animations using Adobe Photoshop (Sketching), Autodesk Alias (CAD), Keyshot (Rendering)
Support the engineering team in refining concepts with attention to aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability
Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and design reviews
Work with engineers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and make necessary adjustments
