Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Policy and process: Working with global operation excellent team implement the sourcing policy and process to various business units in China
  • Strategic Sourcing: Working with category sourcing manager to implement sourcing strategies (for various spend categories) in various business units. And work with category sourcing team to optimize the sourcing strategy by taking-in business units feedback
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal stakeholders across different business units to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies
  • Cost Optimization: Collaborating with internal stakeholders across different business units and category sourcing team, identifying VCP opportunities and Lean opportunity to reduce costs throughout the procurement lifecycle, including spend analysis, negotiation, consumption reduction and process improvements
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing activities, such as VCP, supplier performance, and contract compliance
  • Problem Solving: Acting as a sourcing representative for internal stakeholders across different business, solve the problem escalated to him. And working on sourcing improvement if problem cause by sourcing (supplier performance, sourcing process and tools etc.,)
  • Taiwan and Hongkong Sourcing: working shared service team and category sourcing team, fulfill the sourcing requirement in Taiwan and Hongkong
  • Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
  • Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process
