Requirements

Experience building a guest first culture and guest service fundamentals
Knowledge of retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies
Skills in leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
Ability to plan department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
Flexibility to work a schedule aligning to guest and business needs (early morning, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends)

Responsibilities

Understand sales goals, plans, and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement
Lead and share expertise in operations, accuracy, and efficiency
With guidance from direct leader, establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
Utilize workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload, ensuring areas are guest ready at store open
Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, aligning with weekly and monthly business priorities
Assess GM backroom and sales floor areas, review reporting to identify gaps, and develop plans to resolve issues
Ensure product is available for purchase to enable a consistent guest experience
Assist direct leader in leading and following up on organizational and operational change
With guidance from direct leader, build a team of GM experts from initial selection
