Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in engineering (Except CSE, IT) with 5 to 7 years of experience in IMDS
  • Experience in handling or managing business processes
  • Knowledge in Environmental regulations like RoHS, REACH etc
  • Knowledge in plastic material properties and basic Metallurgy
  • Hands on experience in IMDS preferred
  • Knowledge in PPAP process desirable
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage all business requirements related to IMDS system
  • Ensure compliance with global automotive material reporting standards and regulations through accurate IMDS submissions
  • Collect, review, and validate material data from suppliers to meet OEM-specific requirements and industry guidelines
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely submission of IMDS reports
  • Perform data quality checks and audits on IMDS entries to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Provide guidance and training to suppliers on IMDS processes, standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and compliance teams to address material reporting issues and improve workflow efficiency
  • Monitor changes in international regulations and update IMDS processes accordingly
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for compliance audits and internal reviews
