Requirements

Bachelor’s in engineering (Except CSE, IT) with 5 to 7 years of experience in IMDS
Experience in handling or managing business processes
Knowledge in Environmental regulations like RoHS, REACH etc
Knowledge in plastic material properties and basic Metallurgy
Hands on experience in IMDS preferred
Knowledge in PPAP process desirable
Excellent communication skills
A good communicator, open for challenges, explores full potential to achieve goals
Team player who actively collaborate and contribute to achieve the team goals
Highly motivated and help the team to achieve the goals together

Responsibilities

Manage all business requirements related to IMDS system
Ensure compliance with global automotive material reporting standards and regulations through accurate IMDS submissions
Collect, review, and validate material data from suppliers to meet OEM-specific requirements and industry guidelines
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely submission of IMDS reports
Perform data quality checks and audits on IMDS entries to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance
Provide guidance and training to suppliers on IMDS processes, standards, and best practices
Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and compliance teams to address material reporting issues and improve workflow efficiency
Monitor changes in international regulations and update IMDS processes accordingly
Maintain documentation and reporting for compliance audits and internal reviews
