Requirements

  • Over 3 years of practical experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including expertise in TurboIntegrator scripting and MDX
  • Proficient understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) procedures
  • Experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) and TM1 Web
  • Familiarity with Anaplan or other planning tools (plus)
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain TM1 models, cubes, and processes to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Coordinate user access, security roles, and system configurations across Planning Analytics environments
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including performance bottlenecks and integration errors
  • Automate workflows and improve data pipelines between TM1, Excel (PAfE), and other enterprise systems
  • Document processes and provide training to end users and collaborators
  • Stay abreast of IBM Planning Analytics updates and standard processes, and proactively suggest improvements
