Infrastructure Solutions Application Engineer

Position Overview

This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud environments. Collaborating with development, security, and DevOps teams to streamline infrastructure application workflows. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Identity (IGA/IAM), Authentication, Directory Services, SaaS application enablement, Multi-Cloud services, and infrastructure as code. This engineer will troubleshoot complex issues and implement innovative solutions, focusing on end-user experience and driving a modern, self-service, proactive, and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8 years of relevant experience
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Technical Skills:
    • Scripting with CI/CD best practices (Jira, GitHub)
    • Python, PowerShell, and Linux/Bash
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools (Okta/AD and SCIM provisioning)
    • Authentication security practices (MFA/FIDO, certificates)
    • Experience with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Integration of Unified Collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, and SendGrid)
  • Certifications (Preferred): Okta and AWS certifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams to streamline infrastructure application workflows.
  • Implement Identity and Access Management tools, including Okta/AD and SCIM provisioning.
  • Apply authentication security practices for identity, MFA/FIDO, and certificates.
  • Manage major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Integrate Unified Collaboration tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, and SendGrid.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across physical, process/memory, network, and application levels.
  • Develop automated workflows and streamline operations using coding and scripting skills.
  • Contribute to a modern, self-service, proactive, and AI-driven solutions.
